Went and saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus today. It was really visually stimulating. I really liked how they incorporated using Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Ferrel filling in for Heath Ledger into the plot. I loved the first 2/3 of the movie, but the last third kind of made me depressed and confused. Either way, the movie definitely made me a fan of Lily Cole... yum.

Jogged 4 miles today and it felt goooood. Half marathon in June!

Painting and sewing is what I love best~ and lookie what I* (*Patrick) got today!

Got a good deal on a used industrial sewing machine for doing upholstery and heavy duty sewing! It's intense! It's pretty much the same working it as the Jukis I used at school, so I'm already pretty good with it. Patrick is paying me to do the upholstery for his old cars he restores, and I think I am going to start making purses out of recycled leather from old jackets at good will :D

Alsoooo

finally started using the acrylics I got for Christmas. I really like them! Other than the fact that once you squirt out paint you have to use it fast, they are great. Starting oil painting with my dad next week though so I want to hurry up and finish what I'm working on now...

Bahh I wanted to wait until The Lovely Bones came out in theaters but I am impatient and brooooooke so I am downloading it right now.... oh well.

Of all the celebrities to die recently, this is the one that makes me the most sad. Brittany Murphy has always been one of my favorite actresses, and I've always felt especially attached to her because people have always told me I look like her. Not so much anymore, but especially in my more crackheady 100lb days I would get people telling me we looked alike constantly. Rest in peace pretty lady!
Sad sad sad. :( No more BM movies...

In other news.... Avatar was a brilliant movie (and awesome in 3-D)!

And I found out what my next pet is going to be! An Axolotl! They are soo cute and easy to maintain~

(Look familar)?

I have loved CocoRosie for a long time, but it wasn't until this week that I obsessively started watching interviews and looking up photos... they are just so interesting! I hope they come to Seattle again soon... I've only seen them once, and it was through a broken window because the show was sold out...

beautiful sisters!

I love it...

I want to to crazy makeup and take pictures or something...

I found an acrylic paint set in my room, and my dad lent me an easel and gave me a canvas. I am excited to start painting, it's been too long. I have never used acrylics before but I love acrylic paintings... we shall see how things turn out!

This looks interesting... I think I'm gonna read the book. I loove the song in the middle of the trailer. The inbetween looks trippeyyy.

Welll had my first official work day at Forever 21. It was kind of fun, and inspiring (it made me want to sew), but I don't know how long I'll last there, even if I do get hired on after seasonal. It's just too tedious. Not why I went to college. Haha. But for nowwww, I'll take anything.

*yawn*

Meet Midori!

Meescha gave me the most awesome birthday / graduation present ever! I know she is a korean bj doll, but for some reason I wanted to name her Midori.. (maybe 'cause she has green eyes). I know some of you think bjd are creepy, *cough*annika*cough, but I think she's pretty damn cute XD

mwahaha.

In other news, I spent the last last 24 hours pretty much watching Ouran Host Club, and it is SOO CUUUUUUTE.

Yup!

First day at Forever 21 was today. I'm excited. It's not the best job, but being surrounded by cute clothes all day is really inspiring. I have to lose my nose ring though... :( fail.

In other news...

Lady Gaga just gets better and better
